The earliest paper trail of me being into real estate is a school assignment from when I was eight. By high school I'd figured out how to build websites, and I started building them for agents around Ohio. It was my first version of using technology to solve problems, and I liked it.
In college, I joined a small startup that was figuring out how to help people through probate. I helped lay the groundwork through several iterations of what the business wanted to be. I'm happy to say it's still around today!
EY brought me into the corporate world, pulled me out of Ohio (first to Chicago, then to New York), and taught me how to play with the big kids.
After a couple years consulting for them, Wells Fargo hired me directly. At Wells, I got to flex my interest in solving problems using tech.
Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of buying and fixing up a place. I made it happen :) It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. I'll do it again... someday.
Today, I'm at Unit in New York City. After years of helping clean up the big banks, I'm building systems and solving problems to help create the future of banking.
